ChatGPT and Rentman connection

After following the tutorial (rentman blog article) to connect ChatGPT to Rentman MCP, it refuses to connect.

The only error message I can get is “Rentman is temporarily unavailable. Please try again in a few minutes”. I tried a few times with few hours appart but it is not working.

I just have the intuition that SSO login is making things complicated … (SSO is activated for the same account that has MCP activated in Rentman configuration).

Anybody having problems with the same configuration ?

Hi Ilinca, I just retried to connect. The error changed and is now “Your account does not have MCP access. Ask your Rentman administrator to enable MCP Access for your role.”

Does the ChatGPT account e-mail has to be the same as the Rentman e-mail account ?

Yes the role is enabled for the User Role and the user (me) has that Role.

Hey Paul! Did it work eventually or is it still a problem? Then I can escalate accordingly

Disable SSO if it is enabled however I am having connection issues with chatgpt. It worked the other day, no it dosn’t I imagine its the mcp side as opposed to anything you are doing.
